Project Brief
This project involved creating a scrolling infographic on a contemporary topic, inspired by the visual style of a selected designer. Using their approach to color, typography, and shape, the design communicated a clear topic supported by simple data and visual elements like charts or symbols. The final piece emphasized strong layout, hierarchy, and the use of multiple typefaces to present information in a clear, engaging, and visually cohesive way.
For this infographic, I aimed to capture the timeless style of Saul Bass through an exploration of my personal interest in space travel. I drew inspiration from Bass's minimalist, geometric shapes and vibrant, warm colors. I chose to illustrate a timeline for a potential upcoming Mars mission, providing a breakdown of how long each part of the trip would take.
